a youth dance-theatre program
The Ephyras is a Brooklyn-based youth education program and ensemble featuring dancers ranging in age from 3 to 18.
our program centers precise technique, improvisational scores, movement composition and vocalization. classes culminate in performances, accompanied by live and original music. with professional dancers as mentors and collaborators, The Ephyras work to expand ideas of what dance and theatre can be, and much of the material used in performance is created by the kids themselves.
